Jason Mraz brightens up our summer with his fifth album "Yes!". He has brought good friends with him: the indie pop band Raining Jane. The four women, who have been making music with Mraz on and off for years, describe themselves as an "eclectic rock-folk band". The result of their collaboration is a summery, optimistic album about love, friendship and hope.
The Mraz hit "I'm Yours" in 2008, which, like the musician's first album, "We Dance. We Sing. We Steal Things", was awarded gold. Jason Mraz's fan base in Germany grew even larger with the follow-up album "Love Is A Four Letter Word".
Two Grammys were an incentive for Jason Mraz to develop further and enrich his new album with the balanced sound of Raining Jane. Indie pop and, above all, folk influences fit well with the themes of the songs and Jason Mraz's voice. The four of Raining Jane are also excellent musicians and backing singers. The predominantly acoustic album was recorded entirely live. It's easy to say yes to "Yes!" by Jason Mraz.
