Originally released in February 1995 on A&M Records, Twisted reached #3 in the UK charts and spawned four Top 40 singles: "Here And Now", "Driving With The Brakes On2, "Roll To Me" & "Tell Her This" - This re-release is a faithful recreation of the 1995 A&M UK release with gatefold cover, printed interior and poster and has been pressed on high quality 180g vinyl.

Following the huge, consolidating success of 1992's 'Waking Hours', 'Twisted' was a confident return for Del Amitri, who have since established themselves as one of the most interesting and exciting groups of the 90s.

Although they were in a very different genre, it's impossible not to hear the subtle influence they had on the then-current Britpop phenomenon with the resonant 'Start With Me' and 'Never Enough'. Elsewhere, first single 'Here With Me' sounds like a great lost track from an early 70s rock album, and 'Driving With The Brakes On' and 'It Might As Well Be You' underline how adept the group were at handling a ballad. But for many listeners, it was all about that one song. Although it reached #22 in the UK, "Roll To Me" reached #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the US. "Twisted" entered the charts at number 3 in the UK and stayed in the lists for six months.
