After Ayreon just released their live album "Electric Castle Live and Other Tales" at the beginning of 2020, now a new studio record of the progressive metallers around Dutch musician Arjen Lucassen is coming.

"Transitus" is the name of the concept album, which this time is not in the Ayreon universe. Instead, there is a gothic horror story set in 1884. The main characters are named Abby and Daniel.

As always, Lucassen is supported by numerous high-profile guests, including former Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani, Simone Simons of Epica, Tommy Karevik of Kamelot, guitarist Marty Friedman and many others. Former Doctor Who actor Tom Baker served as narrator.
