Thirty-two artists pay tribute to the extraordinary legacy of Suzanne Langille through interpretations from her extensive song catalog. Langille is best known as a celebrated avant-garde singer and songwriter and as the partner of guitarist Loren Connors. On more than a dozen albums since the mid-1980s, they have ventured into electrified blues and abstract art songs.

Langille's songs, whether with Connors, solo or with other collaborators, are characterized by a distinct and captivating depth. Her evocative lyrics, which revolve around themes of loss, longing and the natural world, break conventional boundaries and combine poetry with powerful melodies.

"The Suzanne Langille Songbook" brings together a variety of artists who reinterpret her music and demonstrate its timeless and transformative power.
