The Hollywood Sound is an album by legendary composer John Williams, performed by the Boston Pops Orchestra and conducted by Williams himself.

This album contains a collection of some of the best Oscar-winning film scores of all time. It includes works by Erich Wolfgang Korngold, Herbert Stothart, Alan Menken, Miklos Rozsa and John Barry, among others.

It also includes some of Williams' own Oscar-winning film scores, including 'Star Wars', 'Jaws' and 'E. T. The Extra-Terrestrial'. For this album, Williams collaborated with American jazz-funk and soul-jazz saxophonist and Grammy Award winner Grover Washington Jr.
