The Great Adventures of Slick Rick is the debut album from 1988 by hip-hop legend and golden age pioneer Slick Rick. The album is one of the few albums to receive a five-mic rating from The Source magazine and in 1998 was also voted one of the 100 best albums by The Source. in 2012, Slant Magazine ranked Slick Rick's debut album as one of the 99th best albums of the 1980s. Hip-hop legend Nas also named the album as one of his favorites.

Following its success story in the 90s, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick is now being re-released.
