"Slow Dancer" is the sixth album by Boz Scaggs. It was originally released in 1974, two years before "Lowdown" became a huge success.
Although "Silk Degrees", released in 1976, was Boz Scaggs' big commercial breakthrough, "Slow Dancer" is already filled with songs just as catchy as the follow-up album.
Producer and Motown owner Johnny Bristol helped Scaggs give the album an urban soul sound, creating an exciting blend of soul and pop-rock.
