Jakob Dylan became famous as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the rock band The Wallflowers, founded in 1989.

For his first solo album, Jakob Dylan teamed up with Rick Rubin to record an acoustic album inspired by Rubin's work with Johnny Cash and Neil Diamond. The result is a wonderfully intimate record. Dylan's voice and the few instruments that accompany him give you the feeling that he is in the room with you.

The album reached number 24 on the Billboard 200 in the USA.
