Fresh from winning the "Best New Artist" Grammy 2023, 24-year-old Samara Joy is now back with her highly anticipated new album.
In recent months, the singer with the exceptional voice and her band have given countless concerts around the globe and taken their collective swing, groove and spirit to new heights. To prove it, they recorded the new album "Portrait" in February 2024 at the legendary Van Gelder Studios, a hot-blooded collection of standards, originals and two jazz classics by Charles Mingus and Barry Harris, for which Samara Joy wrote exclusive lyrics.
