Esoteric Recordings announce the release of a new 2 CD anthology from British rock band Widowmaker. Guitarist of Mott the Hoople and Spooky Tooth, Luther Grosvenor aka Ariel Bender, formed Widowmaker in 1975. The original line-up of the band consisted of vocalist Steve Ellis (ex-Love Affair & Ellis), guitarist Huw Lloyd-Langton (ex-Hawkwind), Australian bassist Bob Daisley (ex-Chicken Shack) and drummer Paul Nicholls, who was previously a member of Lindisfarne.
