Three years after the Grammy-winning album "Voz D'Amor", Cape Verdean superstar Cesaria Evora returns with "Rogamar", the tenth studio album by the "Queen of Morna". "Rogamar", which means "prayer to the sea", contains songs about love, loss, island life and humanity in the context of the ocean.

Together with her talented Cape Verdean songwriting team, Cesaria Evora presents a total of 17 tracks, including 2 bonus tracks recorded especially for this release ("Nos Maestro" & "Mae Africa (Version Cap-Vert))". There is also a performance with Ismaël Lô on "Africa Nossa" and the popular song "Um Pincelada".

"Rogamar" is available for the first time on vinyl in a limited edition of 750 individually numbered copies on turquoise vinyl and includes a 4-page booklet with lyrics.
