After her sister Zara has a nervous breakdown, introverted Eva has to take over her job as a sound recordist. She sets the behavior of a horse to music for a commercial - and becomes so passionately engrossed in her work that a tail grows out of her tailbone. As her tail grows, so does Eva's sexual desire. She begins an S&M affair with a botanist who researches ferns and experiences her body in a way she has never felt before.
