A lot has changed for Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein and Gigi Reece since the release of their acclaimed debut "Versions of Modern Performance" in 2022 (with top ratings from US Rolling Stone, among others).

In the fall of that year, the young band moved from Chicago to the East Coast metropolis, where Penelope and Nora began their studies at New York University and wrote music outside of their parents' home for the first time ever. The influence of their new surroundings is immediately noticeable in their sound. At the same time, in times of unprecedented change, the focus turns inwards.
