Half Alive is an American rock band from Long Beach, California. The band was founded in 2016 and consists of lead singer Josh Taylor, drummer Brett Kramer and bassist J. Tyler Johnson. The trio is best known for their single "Still Feel" and the accompanying choreographed music video.

The music of half-alive evolves, grows and changes with the lives of the trio from Long Beach. They officially came to life with EP 3, released in 2017, and created a noticeable amount of hype.

The RIAA Gold-winning single "still feel." reached the Top 10 at Alt Radio and has been streamed 300 million times worldwide. Persona is a bold, cohesive and compact work that deals with love, anger, longing, crisis and alienation. Across 11 tracks, half-alive also explores what it means to be human - how identity develops and how one is perceived by the outside world. At the end of it all, they challenge you to answer the question: Do you look or do you look away?
