A career-spanning compilation of new and rare mixes compiled by Dr. Alex Paterson. "Orboretum: The Orb Collection" goes way back, but also focuses on recent highlights from albums such as "Abolition Of The Royal Familia" (2020) and "Prism" (2023) - which have been hailed by the media as some of her best work - putting it on a par with the real gold of recent years.
"I don't want The Orb to be like Roxy Music, who kept releasing a new best-of, although to be fair we released the best-of 'History Of The Future' in 2013 and part 2 in 2015. But we have such a gigantic catalog that even I sometimes need a reminder of what I've done, especially these days. This is a director's cut of sorts, reorganizing our work, creating new neurological pathways and new juxtapositions. Some of these pieces are 30 years apart, but there are clear lines, a continuum."
