Celeste's UK number one debut album from 2021 was the first debut album by a British female artist to top the charts in more than five years and was certified silver.

In the same year, she received a Mercury Prize nomination, multiple nominations at the BRITs and was also nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for co-writing the song 'Hear My Voice' for the film 'The Trial of the Chicago 7'. At the 2021 Ivor Novello Awards, she was named Songwriter of the Year (alongside Jamie Hartman).
