Out Of/Into are the new Blue Note superband!

Pianist Gerald Clayton, alto saxophonist Immanuel Wilkins, vibraphonist Joel Ross, drummer Kendrick Scott and bassist Matt Brewer have recently helped shape the label's profile with albums under their own name and/or as sidemen. Earlier this year, they completed a successful US tour under the name The Blue Note Quintet to celebrate the label's 85th anniversary.

"Motion I" is now the title of the musicians' debut album under a new band name. Cutting-edge jazz from five young masters who perfectly combine tradition and modernity.
