Before Klaus Doldinger founded the legendary band Passport in 1971, he turned to rock-jazz and fusion music with his band Motherhood in 1969.
This self-titled album is the band's second from 1970. The line-up includes outstanding musicians such as Keith Forsey on drums and vocals, who later worked with artists such as Amon Düül ll, Giorgio Moroder, Donna Summer, Boney M., Psychedelic Furs and Billy Idol. He also produced soundtracks for films and series such as "Beverly Hills Cop", "Ghostbusters", "American Pie", "Futurama", "Scrubs" and many more. Udo Lindenberg became one of Germany's most successful artists and still plays arena shows.
Doldinger himself is one of Germany's leading jazz musicians, who has released numerous albums and soundtracks in various constellations and has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit or the Deutschland-Echo for his life's work.
