Mood Swings [LP]

The 27-year-old has been making a name for himself in the music world with his "Marcus King Band" since 2013. His solo debut "El Dorado" from 2020 secured him a Grammy nomination in the "Best Americana Album" category. On his latest work, the US-American once again showcases his broad musical talent, from jazz to hip-hop to modern pop. However, one constant remains on "Mood Swings": Marcus' soulful voice, which expresses his feelings authentically. As is well known, the album shows Marcus from his very personal side and accompanies us on an emotional journey through times of sadness and hope.
"I hope this album can act as a safety blanket, a rescue, or a refuge for anybody struggling with mental health, substance abuse, or relationship issues. That's what it is for me," says Marcus King about "Mood Swings".
