"Message From The Country" was the fourth and final studio album by The Move, a British rock band consisting of Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan.

After the release of this last studio album, the trio founded the Electric Light Orchestra.

The influence of the Beatles runs stylistically through most of the songs, but still sounds like the first ELO album, which was recorded during the same lengthy recording sessions as "Message From The Country". Song for song, "The Move" was their most complex and challenging album.
