Yo-Yo Ma, together with pianist Kathryn Stott, presents his new album "Merci" with works by the French composer, enriched with compositions by Camille Saint-Saëns, Pauline Viardot and Lili and Nadia Boulanger, for the Fauré anniversary in 2024 on Sony Classical.

Together with his long-time duo partner, pianist Kathryn Stott, it is a deeply personal expression of gratitude, a celebration of the strong relationships that keep music alive. At the center is the music of 2024 jubilarian Gabriel Fauré, flanked by pieces by his teacher Camille Saint-Saëns and his friend and patron Pauline Viardot, through to works by his student Nadia Boulanger and her sister Lili.
