Live At The 'It Club' (180g) [LP]

With the original line-up of his popular trio The Three Sounds, pianist Gene Harris recorded around twenty albums of blues-heavy hard bop for the Blue Note, Verve, Mercury and Limelight labels between 1958 and 1965. From 1968 onwards, Harris initially found a more soulful sound with new playing partners, which then - as can be heard on this live album from 1970 - became increasingly funkier and rougher.
