"Little Women" tells the story of the lives of the March sisters in New England in the 1860s after the American Civil War.

The prolific composer Alexandre Desplat, who has an incredible number of high-profile projects under his belt, composed the music for the film.

Desplat has received a total of ten Oscar nominations in his career, winning two of them (The Shape Of Water and The Grand Budapest Hotel). His score for "Little Women" was undoubtedly one of the best compositions of the year, as some have noted.

According to one of the producers, the remake of "Little Women" focuses more on the sisters' lives as young adults, especially after Meg, Jo and Amy leave their childhood home.

The movie jumps back and forth in time and focuses more on themes than story. "Little Women" stars Timothée Chalamet, Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson and Meryl Streep, among others.
