Melanie Martinez is back! Five years after "Cry Baby", her new album "K-12" is now being released.

Melanie had already shown herself to be a real multi-talent on her last album, releasing music videos for every song in which she took us into her fascinating world. For her new work, Melanie is now going one step further: "K-12" will be accompanied by a complete, 90-minute feature film, which will only be shown in selected cinemas worldwide on September 5.
in terms of content, "K-12" picks up where "Cry Baby" left off. The film also stars Melanie in her lead role of "Cry Baby" - a strong and empathetic girl who is sent to a disturbing boarding school that hides behind a pretentious facade. The film was shot in Budapest last fall.

"Cry Baby" made a stunning SoundScan/Billboard 200 debut at #6 upon its initial release in August 2015, while also entering the "Top Alternative Albums" chart at #1. The album recorded 2 billion streams.
