Includes the popular number "Let's Make Love", sung by Nathan East. "Heartfelt" was released in 2002, the 7th studio album by jazz quartet Fourplay. With this album they created a crossover between contemporary jazz, R&B and pop and began to reach a wider audience, partly due to the success of the tracks "Galaxia" and "That's The Time".

Fourplay abandoned their individual processes and decided to record this album by jamming freely in the studio. The strongest tracks on "Heartfelt" are those co-written by one or two members; on these, from the Pat Metheny-inspired title track to Nathan East's velvety vocal interlude "Let's Make Love", the quartet's flavor and fundamentally conservative aesthetic are most evident.
