Great Opera Arias: Gala Concert from the Royal Opera House [DVD]

Great singing stars, such as Placido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, Dwayne Croft and many others, did the honors for a great gala concert at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden. On this DVD they can be heard and seen singing the most famous arias of opera literature, with compositions by Bizet (Carmen) and Donizetti ( Don Pasquale) as well as works by Ernesto de Curtis and Teodor Grigoriu. The evening came to a crowning conclusion with the waltz Gold and Silver by Franz Lehar, conducted by Domingo himself.
