Brandon Flowers, the lead singer for U.S. rock band the Killers will release his debut solo album titled "Flamingo" in September....Island Records said the 29-year-old frontman of the Las Vegas-based band recorded the solo album working with the same producer from the Killers' third album "Day & Age." Brandon Flowers, who together with his band The Killers created a classic last year with the song "Human", will release his solo debut album "Flamingo" on September 03. The album was produced by renowned producers such as Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan), Brendan O'Brien (Pearl Jam, Rage Against The Machine) and Stuart Price (Madonna, Depeche Mode).

The Killers have also quickly won over international audiences since their debut "Hot Fuss" (2004), and their follow-ups "Sam's Town" (2006) and "Day & Age" (2008) were in the Top 10 of the Media Control charts.
