"Dune: Prophecy" is an HBO original series based on the bestselling books by Frank Herbert and Brian Herbert and is a spin-off to the blockbuster "Dune" films. The music for the series was composed by Oscar-winning composer Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Lion), whose moody, futuristic atmosphere meets bold, powerful orchestral pieces that accompany the story.

"Dune" is set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. "Prophecy" follows two Harkonnen sisters as they battle forces that threaten the future of humanity and found the fabled Bene Gesserit sect. "Dune: Prophecy" is inspired by the novel "Sisterhood of Dune", written by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
