Spy thriller directed by Fritz Lang and starring Gary Cooper as an American science professor who is parachuted into Germany on a covert mission during WWII. Tasked with thwarting German efforts to build an atomic bomb Alvah Jasper (Cooper) travels through Italy under an alias where he befriends Italian partisan Gina (Lilli Palmer) and does all he can to discover the advances being made in Nazi Germany's nuclear programme.
