Not only can fans of Beth Hart look forward to a new covers album in 2022 with "A Tribute To Led Zeppelin," Provogue Records / Mascot is also reissuing three classics by the U.S. blues rock musician and singer as an LP on 140-gram clear vinyl: "Bang Bang Boom Boom," "Better Than Home" and "Fire On The Floor." "Better Than Home" is Hart's seventh solo studio album.

It was originally released on April 13, 2015. "What makes 'Better Than Home' perhaps her best album is that it is her most introspective work to date, as it goes into the depths of her soul, revealing terrible pain in her past, family issues and personal demons, as well as her coming to terms with them and using that knowledge to find the true beauty in her life.

This is an incredibly moving self-written and composed album that will reach people on a very personal level because a unique artist has found the perfect formula to reveal her very private inner voice and amplify it with her legendary outer voice," the label writes about the album. The songs on "Better Than Home" may sound introspective and melancholic when viewed individually - as a body of work, they are a testament to Beth Hart's strength. "Fake it till you make it," they say in English. For Beth, that's a credo. For example, she wrote "Might As Well Smile" during a depression. The song made her smile and gradually directed her thoughts to the positive, everyday aspects of life.

By writing and singing about being grateful, she ultimately felt genuine gratitude for her life and discovered how to help herself. In "St. Teresa," she goes even further. The song is about selfless charity, unconditional love. This is only felt by those who neither judge themselves nor other people. In this way, the individual can grow beyond himself. "As Long As I Have A Song" closes the album for good reason. Here the singer-songwriter writes about writer's block, which for her is an existential threat: If she could no longer write, she would lack the ability to help herself.
