Rein Rannap (helilooja, seadja ja esitaja): "Sel albumil kõlab palju erinevaid klahvpille. Kui salvestades saan vae-vata kuhjata ülestikku nii palju pille kui soovin, siis kontsertidel aitab neid korraga kõlama panna luuper. Luubid ehk korduvad helifraasid, kas pole need nagu ajakangasse kootud sõlmed? Kirjutasin plaadil kõlavad lood oma 2022 aasta suvetuuriks. See tähistas 25. aasta möödumist mu kõige esimesest samanimelisest „Klaver tu-leb külla“ tuurist, kui esinesin vanades maakirikutes oma klaverit kaasa vedades. Nüüd lasin kõikjale kohale transportida lausa neli erinevat klahvpilli: lisaks oma kontsertklaverile veel ettevalmistatud ehk nn pre-pareeritud klaveri, harmooniumi ja süntesaatori, ning panin nad korraga kõlama luuperi abil. Plaadil kõlab veelgi rohkem erinevaid klahvpille ja ka lood on edasi arendatud. Ainsa varasema pala plaadil, „Kosmoseturisti blogi“ kirjutasin 2010 klave-rile neljal käel (CD-l „2ÜHEL“). Tänu luuperile saan seda nüüd esitada ka üksi! Keskmise osa meloodia on pärit koguni aastast 1977. See jäi toona salvestamata, kuid õnneks on püsinud meeles!"

ENGLISH: Rein Rannap (composer, arranger and perfomer): "On this album, I’m playing many different keyboard instruments. Whereas when recording, I can easily pile up as many instruments as Iwish, performing live I can make them sound simultaneously thanks to the looper. The loops, repeating musical phrases, aren’t they like small knots woven into the fabric of time? The pieces on this album were composed for my 2022 summer tour, celebrating 25 years from the very first tour. The title has remained the same: “The Piano Comes into Your Village.” Back then I played in an-cient churches in the Estonian countryside, tugging along my grand piano. Now I had four instruments transported: my concert grand plus a prepared piano, a harmonium and a synth, and I used extensively the looper. On the album, even more keyboards are employed, and the pieces further elaborated. The only earlier work on the album, „Space Tourist’s Blog,“ is composed in 2010 for the piano four hands (also on the CD „2onONE“). Thanks to the looper I can now perform it alone! The tune of the middle sectioncomes even from the year 1977. Not recorded but preserved in mem-ory! In this piece I use a unique practice, which may need explanation: while repeating a note, I’m tuning with a piano tuning wrench the pitch lower or higher (starts at 2:45). All instruments are recorded in different locations: harmonium at the Holy Spirit Church in Tallinn, harpsichord at the Music Academy, celesta in the orchestra pit of the National Opera, pianos in various places. The whereabouts of electrical instruments (and the assistants) are listed in the acknowledgements section. The piano preparation involves here mainly three methods: pieces of rubber are placed between the lower strings for imitating the sound of various drums; the middle strings are partly covered by plasticine to achieve a muffled sound; alternately are the strings - lower and higher- equipped with crews and bolts between them to obtain a gonglike tone colour. All percussive sounds on this album are recorded on the piano."
