Having already attracted attention on three Blue Note albums by trumpeter Terence Blanchard - including the Grammy-winning album "A Tale Of God's Will (A Requiem For Katrina)" - pianist Aaron Parks was given the opportunity to record his first album for the label in 2008 with "Invisible Cinema". He can be heard here with an excellent quartet and a program of entirely original compositions that reveal musical influences ranging from Wayne Shorter to Radiohead.
