Richard John Taylor directs this British thriller inspired by the criminal career of Newcastle gangster Stephen Sayers. Sayers (Steve Wraith) grew up navigating a tough community and was involved in crime and violence from a young age, resulting in him regularly spending time in prison for lower-level offences. Later, Sayers climbs the ranks of Newcastle's criminal underworld; his family having become the most notorious firm in the city.
