For more than 30 years, musician and producer Leslie Mandoki has regularly brought together friends from the worlds of jazz and rock to fuse the two genres together as ManDoki Soulmates. On their new album "A Memory Of Our Future", the impressive supergroup once again succeeds in doing so in outstanding fashion.

On the 80-minute concept album, well-known names such as Ian Anderson, Al di Meola, Randy Brecker, Till Brönner and Bill Evans are among the illustrious group of musicians involved. The songs on the album call for action against the division of society and for more humanity in everyday life. For more life in the real world instead of the digital one. Around these themes, the Soulmates have created a work of musical diversity that ranges from prog to jazz-rock and combines compositional maturity, playful lightness and artistic solos with great arcs of tension and profound lyrics on socio-political themes.

But "A Memory Of Our Future" not only sets new standards musically, it is also a masterpiece of production technology. The entire album was recorded and produced analog - from the first note to the finished vinyl. The recordings and the analog mix took place in Leslie Mandoki's Red Rock Studios near Munich. The mastering of the analog magnetic tape was done by Greg Calbi (John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, among others) at the renowned Sterling Sound Studio in New York and the vinyl cut at Emil Berliner Studios.
